Square Off Season Five is done and that would mean a lot of free time for me. Less work (and yes, money), though. But it's all good now that we are currently working on Season Six and I have ample time for the books I bought six months ago and the seven books I just bought last week. (Yes, book stores especially book sales are my weakness I tend to buy even if I have to sacrifice a day's meal -- ohh, that would be a good diet! Haha)
I found this title at Pick-a-Book (a kiosk in ELJ) and it's priced below a hundred so I immediately put it in the counter along with other books I liked.
It looks fun and is something that I would really like to read (and was small, not too thick and with 11px font!) so it was the first thing I read last Friday and finished it right away.
I won't give you a full review but because I'm kind, I will list down the 59 things we should not do while we are looking for happily ever after according to veteran advice columnist, Carolyn Hax.

For further explanations and other advice, I guess you have to buy the book yourself or... maybe, I'd be kind enough to lend it to you. :)
I promise you won't go back to me and complain because you wasted 50 minutes (yes, that's how long it took me to finish the book) of your life.
You choose your clothes and your attitude and the paths you'll travel - but you have little say in the paths you cross. So why even try? Why not travel your path for your reasons? You'll have a general sense of where it will lead, which means you'll have the satisfaction of moving your life in a direction of your choosing - and you'll have that satisfaction regardless of what else you pick up (or not) along the way. If you happen to run into love and friendship, all the better. And the thing is, you probably will.
I said I wasn't gonna lose my head, but then.. PoP goes my heart!

Before I went to sleep (which normally means just few hours before the sun sets), I planned to watch something, something that would really entertain me, give me enough enlightenment because I’ve been in the dark lately. No, really… I’m having a terrible inspirational drought again and listening to the The Runaways’ Cherry Bomb cant help anymore; singing it on the top of my lungs didn’t help even. I seriously had troubles counting how many Ch- was there before Cherie Currie finally said Cherry Bomb or how should I spell it. Uhm, Ch-? Chh- Ch..e? Gaah. So there, I knew only a good love story would cure me. Something so wonderful it would inspire me to live life as a zealous, understanding and resilient (C’mon, just stating facts here.) person again. I checked my rack and picked out something that was in my bag, I know, I’m that kind of scatterbrain. I actually chose a Koreanovela and I was preparing myself up for again, an all-nighter, but it turned out that it wasn’t subbed or my player can’t play the subtitles it has or I really don’t know (*shrugs* It was subbed when I bought it! The words magically disappeared, perhaps. HAHAHA!) To my dismay, I just ate all the chips in the little pack of Lays I bought just half an hour before I played the clip and decided to sleep. But that’s not the end of the story, yes, because I never ever slept before the hour Cinderella left her shoe with the prince, my body clock knows how to wait until after twelve midnight before my eyes will possibly close and my mind will think of nothing but how to have a nice, deep slumber. I wasted time thinking of clothes to wear tomorrow and I realized I’m already lacking of nice clothes dubbed as I’m-getting-fat-oh, no-you-aren’t-you-are-getting-fatter-and-fatter-each-day-so-don’t-waste-your-gym-membership, but I won’t go to the gym today, anyways. It can wait… and I know I’m lazy. Putting on, I mean forcing on my clothes unto my body was very tiring but that didn’t stop me. I was still alive, alert, awake and enthusiastic. Gee, so, this is inspirational drought for me, I was like I’m on the drugs. I stared on my bed for several minutes while I’m still catching my breath due to “too little” clothes I sported when I saw my copy of Music and Lyrics and I thought (sound effects plus light bulb beside my head please) a movie I’ve already memorized would probably bore me and lead me to sleep. BUT NO, IT DIDN’T. It just made me eat more Nagarayas and drink more and more Iced Tea. The movie still thrills me! I swear, I know this movie by heart, memorized each beautiful lines Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant delivered, sang at least one of the soundtracks each day but each time I watch it, I’m discovering something new. Just like how I missed Sophie’s (Barrymore) sense of fashion and how I like to imitate it. Alex (Grant) doesn’t have a car, I never thought of that! Or seen the part in the credits where they say that PoP band members had hip replacements and after their reunion concert in 2006, Colin also undergone one. Funny how something you fancy still surprise you every time. So, maybe that’s true love, or how relationships last. You can swear to anyone even God that you already know everything about this certain person you love but still, they astonish you each time you are with them, leaving you dumbfounded, yet more hooked and definitely happier that there’s more to this person you adore than the things you know about him and you’re very eager to know a lot more the next time you’ll be together… or, I’m just hallucinating because I unarguably love Music and Lyrics.
I actually am so tired and LAZY (though, I always am) at the mo. I'm currently working on an AVP for our World Literature Class tomorrow and it is soooo TEDIOUS. Haha. :) So, I decided to take a peek on my Friendster account and then I stumble upon this bulletin post. I just can't believe that I actually read all of it even if I'm oh-so sluggish at this point. It's totally SWEET. :)

We don't care if you're friends with other guys. But when you're sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room and you jump up and tackle him, without even introducing us, yeah, it pisses us off. It doesn't help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without even acknowledging the fact that we're still there. We don't care if a guy calls OR TEXTS you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned. Nothing is that important at 2 a.m. that it can't wait till the morning. Also, when we tell you you're pretty/ beautiful/ gorgeous/ cute/ stunning, we freaking mean it. Don't tell us we're wrong. We'll stop trying to convince you. The sexiest thing about a girl is confidence. Yeah, you can quote me. Don't be mad when we hold the door open. Take Advantage of the mood im in. Let us pay for you! Don’t "feel bad" We enjoy doing it. It's expected. Smile and say "thank you." Kiss us when no one's watching. If you kiss us when you know somebody's looking, we'll be more impressed. You don't have to get dressed up for us. If we're going out with you in the first place, you don't have to feel the need to wear the shortest skirt you have or put on every kind of makeup you own. We like you for who you are and not what you are. honestly, I think a girl looks more beautiful when she's just in her pj's. or my shirt and boxers, not all dolled up Don't take everything we say seriously. Sarcasm is a beautiful thing. See the beauty in it. Don't get angry easily. Stop using magazines/media as your bible. "Don't talk about how hott Chris Brown, Brad Pitt, or Jesse McCartney is in front of us". It's boring, and we don't care. You have friends for that. Whatever happened to the word "handsome"/"beautiful"? I’d be utterly stunned by a girl who greeted me with "Hey handsome!" instead of "Hey baby/ stud/ cutie/ sexy" or whatever else you can think of. on the other hand I’m not saying I wouldn't like it ether Girls, I cannot stress this enough: if you aren't being treated right by a guy, dont wait for him to change. ditch his sorry ASS, he's a disgrace to the male population and find someone who will treat you with utter respect Someone who will honor your morals. Someone who will make you smile when you're at your lowest. Someone who will care for you even when you make mistakes. Someone who will love you, no matter how bad you make them feel. Someone who will stop what they're doing just to look you in the eyes....and say "i love you" ..and actually mean it. Give the nice guys a chance Guys repost this if you agree Girls repost this if you think it's cute Every Guy who isn't a jerk will agree with this, so we hope that all the girls that read this will repost this *Holding Hands Girls :If you want to hold his hand, gently bump into it a couple of times. Guys : Grab it if it happens more than once. *Cuddling Girls : When you want to cuddle with him, tell him you're cold Guys : Automatically move closer to her. *Movies Girls : During a movie, if he puts his arm around you, tilt your head on his shoulder Guys : Lift her chin up and kiss her. *Loving each other Guys : When she tells you she loves you, look deep into her eyes, give her a peck on the lips, and tell her you love her too... And mean it. *Laying below the stars Girls : When you're both laying under the stars, put your head on his chest and close your eyes as you listen to his steady heart beat Guys : Whisper in her ear and link your hands with hers. By 12 am tonight your one true love will realize how much they want you. Girls repost as: written by a guy :] Guys post as: Girls need to realize
