More than I can stand...
Sunday, November 18, 2012@6:31 AM
Sometimes, I just want to share some friggin song and lyrics just the way I post a song a day to express myself during my Teentalk addiction days back in 2008. (And yes, I did a thread back-read just to realize I've been on that phase)

So here's a song from the book I just finished reading (or re-reading, I guess. Cos I may not like other Levithan books and Cohn books like how I speed read The Steps and Two Steps Forward but I'll never ever do that with a Levithan and Cohn book. Like, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. Never. I will never do that to the bass god and the music freak. Ever. Or even Naomi and Ely.)

Always Wanting You
Merle Haggard

Always wanting you but never having you Makes it hard to face tomorrow 'Cause I know I'll be wanting you again Always loving you but never touching you Sometimes hurts me almost more than I can stand
I'd been better off if I'd turned away and never Looked at you the second time 'Cause I really had my life all together Till your eyes meet mine
And there I say a yearning and a feeling 'Cross the room that you felt for me Wish I'd had a way of knowing that the things we had in Mind could never be
Always wanting you but never having you Makes it hard to face tomorrow 'Cause I know I'll be wanting you again Always loving you, but never touching you Sometimes hurts me almost more than I can stand

Always wanting you, but never having you,
Makes it hard to face tomorrow 'cause I
Know I'll wake up wanting you again.
Always loving you, but never touching you,
Sometimes hurts me almost more than I can stand.

I'd been better off if I'd turned away and never

Looked at you the second time.
'Cause I really had my life all together till your eyes met mine.

And there I saw a yearning and a feeling 'cross

The room that you felt for me.
Wish I'd had a way of knowing that the things we had in
Mind could never be.

Always wanting you, but never having you,

Makes it hard to face tomorrow 'cause I
Know I'll wake up wanting you again.
Always loving you, but never touching you,
Sometimes hurts me almost more than I can stand.

Always wanting you, but never having you,

Sometimes hurts me almost more than I can stand.

Okay. So you recognize it but you've never read the book or don't listen to 70s cowboy music at all?
Then, my guess is that you've played GTA San Andreas, cos that's where I heard it first too -- the KRose Station.
