My Trip to Malacanang
♥
Tuesday, June 19, 2012@3:11 AM
This happened last year.
And I know it's just too late to blog about this now, but hey, we can always look back. (Haha. Lulusot pa) Truth is, I haven't posted these pictures because I was under the impression that taking them was forbidden. Wehehe. Because they confiscated my camera just right before we started rolling. So, here is my Malacanang experience (as I remember it, after six months) I belonged to Team 1 or the they-will-go-there-first-along-with-technical-people-for-ingress Team. We left ABS by 6:12 am, I must know because I checked-in to Foursquare. PROOF:
This really isn't my first time in Malacanang, I've been there once when we did the Strictly Politics interview with Sec. Jojo Ochoa, but this time it's a lot more different because the interviewee is the person holding the highest position in the land. Yeah, the PRESIDENT. Reason why we were extra early.
We arrived at the Malacanang Compound around 7 and whilst waiting for the right time to bring the equipments in, some ate their breakfast while we listen to Boom Gonzalez on the radio. I texted him and he greeted us. It almost felt like my elementary days on Nueva Ecija when I call Big Sound every day just to talk to the DJs. Hahaha.
Then, we were told that we will just be able to set-up by 10am or by 9am the latest.
Yes, we were two hours early.
So, I opted to walk around (in 4-inch heels!) to past the time and to drive away my boredom, I took these photos.
Time really flies so fast, cos it almost feel as if, we were just waiting for several minutes when we were called to set-up.
And here are some photooooos!
This bunch was taken at the other room where we put our recorder and monitors.
But of course, mawawala ba ang souvenir photos ng Associate Producer, Technical Producer at Director ng programa?
No more photos after these though, cos my camera had been confiscated by the security, hindi raw kasama sa equipment, darn!
So for your reference on how the show went, here's the full episode:
