Last Summer, I was able to use one of the facilities I'm paying for in the condominium I'm living in.
THE POOL!
As much as I love the waters, I really don't have the time and energy to plunge in every time the whiff of chlorine is inviting me (and that's almost every day - I pass by the pool on my way to my unit!)
So, I really was glad to accompany my brother to the pool area one time he asked me, cos I've been aching to swim for too long.
Whilst swimming an something hammered home...
I know Shimizu Keiichi did it first but I haven't seen any episode of La Corda d'Oro when the idea popped in my mind, so I'm safe.
I'm currently on the look out for a floater/ lifebuoy or whatchamacallit but it is still to no avail. :(
This is the closest I can get to that for now.
I was reading Mga Agos sa Disyerto by Efren R. Abueg, Dominador B. Mirasol, Rogelio L. Ordoñez , Edgardo M. Reyes, Rogelio R. Sikat

Here are the books I'm planning to read this month. Hope I finish them (on time)! I'm now shying away from ebooks because I still have too many unread physical books not to mention the pre-loved books I just ordered (16 of them - my poor, poor wallet. Why I never had the discipline to DIET, I don't know...) 1. Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
For our first buddy read, Billy and I decided to read Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights. I've been meaning to read this book for so long but never did I have the drive to do so. We decided to read 3 chapters a day.
Hi Billy!
Thank you for being my reading buddy! Together, let's dissect Heathcliff! Hahaha. :D
2. Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
Whenever I borrow books, I make it a point to read it right away so the next time I see the person who lent me the book, I can hand it back off the bat. I can now announce that I've religiously followed that path had it not for this book. Ella lent me this copy last Summer Komikon (that's April 13) and still, I have yet to read it!
Attachments is a fun story about newsroom girls and a graveyard IT guy. I'm a newsroom and graveyard girl, so I know, I'd definitely like this book.
3. Death by Garrote by Ambeth Ocampo 4. Walong Diwata ng Pagkahulog by Edgar Calabia Samar This is Pinoy Reads Pinoy Books, my beloved book club's book of the month/s. Our discussion leader is Berto so, it actually is kind of exciting (knowing how crazy Berto can sometimes be). We will culminate the online discussion with a field trip to San Pablo, the setting of the book. Join the book discussion here. 5. Girl Meets World by Claire Betita de Guzman Labels: ambeth ocampo, Bibliophilia, book club, book haul, bookworm. book bunch, classic. buddy read, edgar samar, filipiniana, june, laguna, rainbow rowell, summit books, wuthering heights, young adult books Comments 7 |
