Happy Birthday, Boy in Plaid!

Exactly four years ago, I posted a blog entry for my long-time friend, Jeffrey Cape's birthday. Those were the days when Twitter is not yet that big, Facebook is just for the ones with internet connection at home, and Friendster is the best way to connect to friends, (well, and maybe Plurk). So, I made the grandiose gesture of greeting my friend thru my own "website" because, well, it is some what the best way to do so, since he also is into blogging.
And in that post my last lines were:
"Hindi ko talaga makakalimutan lahat lahat ng pinagsamahan natin. kulang pa lahat ng naikwento ko na yan..
Pero may susunod ka pa namang birthday diba? Doon na lang ulit. Haha!"
I'm so sorry kung natagalan yung susunod. I'm sorry na ngayon lang.
Maybe because we (not just us, but the whole AKUKE) drifted away from each other, o tayong dalawa lang ba ang nawala sa sirkulasyon?
We used to be so closed and albeit I understand why you distanced yourself away from us, I still wish that you didn't. And I'm still wishing we could all just catch up, little by little...
So, now for your 23rd birthday, I won't tell any anecdote, I won't reminisce, be funny or say anything about the past, I won't wish anything for you, but this maybe is... for myself.
Come back to us, Jeff. We miss you. A lot.
