What will I miss about CIC?
♥
Friday, February 13, 2009@3:39 AM
This isn't finish yet. I just posted it for my friend, SAM. :D
15.79 years, 5760 days, 138240 hours, 8294400 minutes and 497664000 seconds. Phew. NFW! [Digits really drives me nuts. Perhaps that's why I so lurve MATH. ] Would you believe that I've been studying in the same school that long?! Ugh. It sucks, I know. To be in the same old school every year, wear the same kind of uniform, follow the same lame rules. Perhaps that's why I'm old school. Blame that to my parents who belongs to this CIC-is-the-best-school-in-town-let's-patronize-it whatever. I even asked my Mum back then why she enrolled me in this school and she gave me tons of reason --pathetic reasons. Why not Little Merry Hearts? "Too Far." Flowerlane, perhaps? "Not that secured." Wesleyan? "WTF?!" Then, why CIC? "Walking distance." Hell yeah, our old house was so close to CIC Main. *Imagine CIC New Site to the waiting shed, oh not quite, it's even closer.* And the rest is history. I've never even experienced to enter any other educational institution aside from, yuhh, where I am now. It's just so annoying. LOL. Bitterness, much? Affirmative! That's because I hate this school. Just Kidding! :] I actually LOVE this school so much that when I finished Elementary, I even asked my parents to let me stay in this school though my grandfather wants me to enroll at NEUST (cz his cousin, my grandmom, is the current President back then). CIC is so dear to my heart that I'll surely cry on my graduation because of the fact that I'll already be leaving the HOME I stayed on for almost all my life. I can never imagine myself studying in other institution (except from UP, DLSU, Ateneo, Harvard, Yale, Brown... LMAO! Kidding.) So, what will I REALLY miss about CIC? QANAH. A.K.A Burger Machine or Student's Lounge. The TOTAL tambayan. Not just because it is the only WI-FI hotspot in school but it's a place where you can sit and chat with your friends all day. MAGNIFICAT CENTER. This was built when I was like a Sophomore in High School. The whole court was closed and we are all forced to use the Marian Garden as our place for events. This is the place where every activity happened. THE IMMACULATE OFFICE. The publication office. I'll never forget this place. IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHAPEL. After the P200 PTA raffle ticket every year, here it is.. The Chapel! I go to the church whenever I want to be alone and reflect. This place was a real haven for me. I have cried a lot of times here. ISLA. A.K.A John Paul II Building or Taiwan. This small and remoted place means a lot to me. It made me feel I was studying in a University (imagine the looooong walks from Mainland China, dude. TOKI Jeeps, puh-lease!) THE ACACIA. This tree was long gone but it will always be MISSED. LONG PAD. I've always loved CIC's pad paper. It's very neat. HALO-HALO. I can never live each day without this! This sweet delight is incomparable. :D MIB. Men In Barong or the guards. I always had this certain friction with our school guards. Just beware cz they bite. Hahaha. SPEECH LAB. Oh boy, We were the first ones who used this lab. Hahaha. I'll always remeber that! MASSCOM ROOM. The smallest yet the most talked about classroom in campus. Don't ask me why, it's just that I go to that room everyday. LMAO! RADIO BOOTH. This little room fulfilled my dreams of saying the words "The time is one minute after the hour of two and your still listening to blah blah blah" ON AIR. MINI HOTEL. We used to have sleep overs here making it a real MINI HOTEL. Hahaha. PATHWALK. We were soooo relieved when the pathwalk was made. Ugh. Imagine the long walk without a cover? Haha. THE BUNNIES. Only few persons know this but Fr. Richmond owns almost 30 rabbits as pets and they are taken care of in a small place at the back of the Father's residence. Do check it out. They're adorable! CSSC OFFICE. I admit. I used to go here everyday (back when I was still a member of the Freshmen Council). I'll miss this office because I will always remember that my sketch pad was stolen there. Hahaha THE GARDEN. AKA St. Francis of Assissi Garden or Circle of Life. I always hung out in this place when I was in High School. It cozy and sacred. You can really reflect about your life in this place CR. I remember, when I was in Third Year HIgh School, I got locked up in the boy's comfort room with my classmate-turned-crush-and-now-only-a-friend. Don't ask, it's a long story. Haha. Everything can happen in this place. When I say everything, it's EVERYTHING. Talk about smoking sessions, cat fights, and more. HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH. There's no other sandwich in town that tastes like this. With a sliced ham, cheese pimiento and little bit of mayo, this sandwich is HEAVEN! PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM. The given name for the fields-slash-shortcut to Isla. There are a lot of things I will miss about this school, not to mention my teachers who became a big part of my life. But maybe that's all for now. Comments 2 |
